Universal Credit Review Frequency

I am appointee for my Adult Son who is in receipt of Universal Credit.
He had a review which was completed in October 2024.
He now has a message on his journal for another review already, which isn't an issue but as his UC is paid into my account they wanted my bank statements last time even though I don't claim any benefits.
Is it usual to have reviews this frequently?
Thanks

Some people do have frequent repeat reviews, others like myself had one in September 2023 & nothing since.
As far as I know there is no publicly available information as to the methodology that guide frequency of UC reviews.
In future you might want to consider opening a second account for his money to go into.
It would be much simpler and protect your own privacy.3 -
As above.....
my understanding is it is risk based... probably some algorithms looking for more likely cases of incorrect payments getting more attention. It's definitely not operating in any hard coded scheduled way... when my wife and I separated and so had separated claims she quickly was reviewed and I haven't been on my solo claim..."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1 -
The issue is always going to be if it's a mixed account how much in it is your son's UC as the capital limits still apply to your son.
As suggested above better to have a total separate account, even if that account is still in your name.
