Happy New Year everyone. As a Power Of Attorney I am having to complete a financial assessment for my Mother. She has Santander shares and they are asking for proof. I need to submit a copy of the shares Certificate. Where do I start please? I have no idea how to get this. Many thanks in advance.

Shares are issued either electronically (more typical nowadays) or in old-style paper certificate form, so next step will be to ascertain which applies here:
