What exactly does that mean 'will be credited to your account on 15th Jan '? If it's free on 6th.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

They credit your account once a month usually for the free sundays0

I've just seen the same that also arrived at 2239 last night.
Expecting an "Oops sorry we got that wrong" text as soon as they get into the office, LOL.

It is very odd for that message to have landed on a Tuesday, meaning tomorrow is Wednesday. It can't even be a mistake from the Christmas Day free electricity as that was a Thursday.0

The "oops - sorry" text duly received0

To my surprise, EDF have just sent me a text commenting that they noticed I used more electricity than usual on Tuesday 6th January and possibly because they sent the "free electricity" message incorrectly. As such, EDF, have applied a goodwill credit to my account for that increased electricity used on that day. (My use was higher but outside of the "not free, free hours".)
I am not a fan of EDF but fair credit where it's due, this is a fair way for EDF to manage that type of mistake.
I hope EDF do not go back and retrospectively adjust the Sunday Saver hours earned that included 6th January and the Sunday free electricity now used 18th January.1 -
I had the text too and have just checked my account, hope it's not just this that has appeared overnight.Grumpy_chap said:To my surprise, EDF have just sent me a text commenting that they noticed I used more electricity than usual on Tuesday 6th January and possibly because they sent the "free electricity" message incorrectly. I am hoping that they won't use it to readjust the actual credits I had showing which have all now gone to pending.
The actual planned Christmas Day and Sunday Saver use is far higher than the smaller charge being credited back for the incorrect text day:

Fortunately all the pending entries have now gone to actual as initially indicated.0
