Manchester Airport charges

I recently incurred 2 charges when trying to pick up my daughter at Manchester airport, by stopping in front of the drop off zone for 3 minutes. I telephoned them to explain I had paid one fee, thinking it was the pick up fee and obviously unaware I was just clearing the drop off zone fee. The lady said to appeal by email stating this and it would be accepted. I have now received a rejection and quoted myself as the driver in this appeal. If I go to an independent appeal now will I loose and need to pay the £100 or should I pay now at £60? I know now I should have said I was just the registered keeper.

You pay nothing
Ignore Debt recovery plus letters.
Dont bother with POPLA3 -
Why didn't you just do a registered keeper appeal (wins every time)? What a shame. You had 100% win.Jermyns said:I recently incurred 2 charges when trying to pick up my daughter at Manchester airport, by stopping in front of the drop off zone for 3 minutes. You will have to ignore debt demands all year.
Obviously nobody pays. Not an option. But next time, check here first and don't ring up dodgy, greedy parking firms who will lie to you about how to appeal. They told you how to lose. Luckily nothing happens with APCOA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So I pay nothing and just ignore their demands and nothing will happen?1

You're asking me to give the same advice again, like it's surprising but this is in the official MSE Guide that new posters should read first. Linked at the top of every page of this board & checked personally this summer by me and (separately) by Martin Lewis.
Surely you have already searched the forum for APCOA? Read any recent threads about similar PCNs. Sadly you threw away the easy 100% win, but nothing happens. No harm done but we are frustrated by your wasted appeal - eek!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’m sorry, just nervous, thank you for your advice.1
