Sad about your walking buddies @Longwalker. I don’t mind walking alone but did get a bit creeped out walking through orchards on the way home today. I’m slightly deaf in one ear now and kept looking behind me - which DH laughed at telling me I’m paranoid. Well he would say that as a 6’ 2” man!!

Sorry to hear about your BIL - not easy for them and awful that they are so far away. I hope things get easier for him. My BIL has stage 4 lung cancer and starts immunotherapy next Tuesday. He’s 52 and has never smoked. All a bit rubbish really.

Thank you @joedenise for the biscuit syn value x I have had dinner and it was lush. Now sitting in my Oodie all snug and warm 😊

Morning all, it's extremely cold again and even with the heating on for nearly an hour before we got up the living room was only 15 degrees!  Not really surprising with the temperatures overnight and with a very heavy frost this morning, no snow thankfully.

So sorry to hear about your BIL @Longwalker, that's awful for you and your family.  Sending you hugs.  Hope the very aggressive treatment works so he can have the stem cell treatment.

Hope your mum's op goes OK this week @beanielou.

Welcome back @Suffolksue.  It is difficult going it alone but all we can do is just try.  If you've read back you'll know that there are now Healthy Fats in addition to the HEA (calcium) and HEB (fibre) and that you can have any combination of the 3.

Sorry can't help with the Swips for the Lindt Lindors - if they are the big balls of chocolate they used to be 4 each but no idea if those are the ones you mean!

Going over to Sittingbourne today as need to go to The Food Warehouse, Lidl and Sainsbury as we have none of those on the Island, although Lidl have bought a site here so hopefully they get the go ahead to build.  The council have already said Yes 3 times but each time Tesco and/or Aldi object and it gets thrown back to planning.  The Council have said they don't want to have to approve it for a 4th time so hopefully it will go ahead.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach, toast - HEB; P; S
    L - jacket potato, beans, salad - S; F
    D - sweet and sour pork, rice - S; P; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

Have a good day everyone and keep safe, particularly those of you that have snow.

    Morning all,

Hi @Suffolksue lovely to see you. I have at least a stone to lose so I feel your frustration! Sorry to hear about your hip x

Well DS2 is in my bad books. He went to London last night and was due home at 2am as there was a replacement bus service for the last 4 stops. Well either he missed it or it was cancelled so he walked! Got in at 4:30am according to DD who saw it on her Strava app when she went for a run earlier. Why on earth he didn’t call us I have no idea. We will be having words as anything could’ve happened to him including being mugged or worse.

Back on thread topic(!) yesterday was a good day. I have the following food planned for today:

B - AF lean bacon, poached egg, AF tomatoes, toasted protein bagel thin - P, S, HEB
L - brown rice pot with edamame beans, picked red cabbage, pickled pink onions, gherkins, feta - Free, S, HEA
D - SW easy chicken curry with rice - Free
    HEA - milk
    Syns - skinny bar - 4

Will have snacks of apple/satsuma if needed.

We are taking down the decorations today so I’ll be moving a fair bit. Not as much as yesterday but it all helps.

All good wishes to your Mum @beanielou x

Good morning, not sure who asked, about Lindt Lindors there seem to be 6 incarnations @ 4swips and the minis 25g are 7.1/2.
Like everywhere else freezing cold here and so slippery under foot. Having Osteoporosis and having had 2 fractures I am so nervous about falling and only gone out with DH, WI tomorrow on my own should be doable, involves lots of road crossing to avoid the worst pavements and will not go near the road alongside the river - bad frost pocket down here.

Hopefully will read back during the morning and post later.  Stay safe, stay warm.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)
