Thank you everyone

Our group was busy with the regulars yesterday, but only a couple of new people. I agree maybe it will be busier next week once people are back to work/school."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Life sounds tough at the moment @Longwalker.🤗 Do you still get to go out with your friend for walks (obviously not in this weather)?🤔
It was very cold here first thing. DH went to pick up a friend from the cruise terminal and it was -5.5 in the car. It's +2 now and gloriously sunny. Tropical!🤣
Well done on facing the music tomorrow @Coxy11. I'd do the same but I want to keep my WI day to a Friday. I'm feeling very uncomfortable this morning. As ever, all the extra weight has gone onto my stomach which feels like a balloon!☹️ Today's a start in the right direction as it should be a fairly normal SW Sunday. All the Christmas chocolates are finished and I can easily ignore cakes and biscuits.
Glad you had your planned pudding last night @bubbs and managed to have it on a SP day.
IMO, Speed days on SW are their version of low carb so even if we don't have it 100% then it still helps. I rarely have full days but often have SP meals like omelettes with salad or meat and LO veg and pickles. I cook minimal potatoes so there are rarely any LO. Today I'm having cold meat with stir fried veg so that'll be an SP lunch.
I portioned up the Bolognese (4 meals) for the freezer and meatballs will be going into the oven soon. I think they're one of my favourite meals @Jellybaby but I'll have to make more pasta sauce. That being said @Longwalker, as a stand by, there are some jars that are quite low syn. There's Ben's NAS sweet and sour which is 6 syns for the jar but that's expensive and hard to come by. Take a look on the app for Lidl and Aldi or other own brands pasta sauces and you'll find some that are quite SW friendly.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
L- ham (P), stir fried veg (S)
D- JO roast pork (P,S), roast potatoes and parsnips (F), many veg (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😁0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Bloody freezing-4 but no snow, although forecast overnight into the morning, we will see! Popped up the unit to take some stuff and got washing in from the machine to put on airer, not going out again, locked the door 🤣🤣
Lw, you will soon get that off and hope things calm down for you.
I have not even looked at my new book yet🙈🤣
Cosy, refuge was pleased with the items.

Afternoon all, bloody cold here but thankfully no snow although snow showers forecast over the next couple of days.
Well done on your SP day @bubbs, although it seems you often have them but don't actually mention it usually!
Portioned up the LO lamb casserole and have put 2 x 2 portions into the freezer - I actually made more than I thought. I'd thought it would only do 2 meals for 2 of us but has actually ended up as 3 meals each so a relatively cheap meal - the lamb was part of a 3 for £12 deal.
Do hope things calm down for you soon @Longwalker. I wouldn't worry about not responding to others' posts while you have other stuff going on in your life. The main thing is that you are posting especially if it's helping you stay on plan, although it seems you've done really well while you haven't been posting.
We're having pork as well today @maman, although it will just be plain roasted along with potatoes and veg plus green veg.
So today's plan:
B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2.5
L - BLT - HEB; P; S; 1.5
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roast parsnips and carrots, green veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2.5; LF spread 1.5, may have a lolly later 6
Have a good day everyone.1 -
🤣 It may be a while until you can get back on plan. 🤔beanielou said:My mum has dropped off half her pocessions here or so it seems. Maybe she is staying longer than I thought!!
The Jamie Oliver for pork is quite straightforward @joedenise. Basically, you just put a trivet of veg (carrots, onions, celery, bay, garlic) half way through. JO liquudises the veg to make his gravy but I just serve them as roasted veg. I decided on pork as it's fattier than some roasts, we'll be having less synful (swipier doesn't make sense 🤔) meals after tomorrow until I get back to target.
I must avoid eating crackling....1 -
Denise, i often have a banana but didn't yesterday.
Was just reading the new book, it says if you drop out of target, you have FOUR weeks to get back in it, further on it says you have to pay

Things have gone pear shaped! The pork is bigger than I thought and is going to take too long to cook so as there were a couple of burgers in the fridge we're having burger, chips & beans with pickles!
Will cook the pork for tomorrow night now I know it's going to take longer to cook than I thought!
Looks like your consultant needs to sort out what the rules are for when you drop out of target if the pages are contradictory! Let us know once you've found out!1 -
Oh dear @joedenise. Not what you intended to serve up for Sunday dinner! Probably better than you had last Sunday though.🤣
Reading from your book @bubbs, I think the 4 weeks free to return to target refers to falling below the lowest possible target that SW think is healthy for you. They then say that if fall below that and you're still not back at that very low target within those 4 weeks you should go to your GP, leave SW and take advice on how to gain.
In the second paragraph it says you set your own target and when you reach it you have to stay +/- 3lbs or set a new target a minimum of 7lbs lighter. That's what we're used to, no change. What I can't see is anything about a grace week or how often you have to go to WI if you're a target member, maybe that's further down the page. 🤔0 -
Opps Denise!
I will ask her Saturday, Maman can't find nothing about how many weeks and target 🤔 those 2 paragraphs are totally different pages about 4 pages apart, there is nothing under that 1st pic apart from BMI chart thingSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0
