    Hi all,

Lovely to see the new thread - thanks @beanielou and all good wishes to you and your DMum xx

Great to see so much chat on here! I helped DH at work today - variously emptying a skip of garden waste that someone ‘helpfully’ piled up so it couldn’t be collected plus an equal amount beside it. Took us several hours to move it all then refill the skip with broken furniture.

Food has been good today. Still lots of goodies here though. Weigh day is Monday….

Good luck for tomorrow with WI. 🤞

Meant to say @bubbs that Ben's sweet and sour sauce is £2 with nectar in Sainsburys.

Morning all, a very cold, crisp morning today.  When I checked the forecast on line it said that the temperature at 8am would be -1 but feel like -6!  No plans to go out this morning but will be popping over to see DD1 this afternoon.  Have just spoken to DD2 and she's coming to see us tomorrow as she and her partner are planning on checking their caravan which is stored fairly close to us.

Good luck for WI this morning @bubbs, @jwil, @Jellybaby and anyone else who is braving the scales this morning!  It helps to know how much damage has been done over the festive season!

I'm definitely back on plan and hoping for another loss next Friday.

    Today's plan:

    B - Cheese omelette - HEA2; P
    L - LO pizza, air fried baby potatoes, salad - HEB; S; F; 3
    D - SC lamb casserole, mash - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - 45g WM flour
Syns - small amount light mozzarella 3 (half HEA amount)

Have a good day everyone and keep safe if you are out and about today.

Thank you @joedenise it was a maintain for me today which I'm very happy with as there have been lots of Christmas goodies this week and that means overall I'm 3.5lb lighter over the Christmas period.

We all had the new member talk this morning.  There's 10% off Iceland/Food Warehouse from today until 9th Feb.  There's a barcode in the app or you can show your membership card.

They also said with the HEs you can do 1/2 portions but they should be from the same category only, you shouldn't mix categories.

Good luck to everyone else weighing :)

    Morning all,

Absolutely freezing here but thankfully not any more snow. Got to group and it’s a three pound gain. In all honesty, not as much as I thought considering it’s been a couple of weeks since I last weighed.

We’re off to Edinburgh today meeting up with my brother for a late lunch.  Where we’re eating has plenty of steak, chicken and fish choices so any syns will be in sauces, dressings etc - along with a couple of cocktails 😉.

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done @jwil - a maintain at this time of year is brilliant and 3.5lb down over the last couple of weeks is much better than for most!

Not too bad a gain @Jellybaby for the Christmas/New Year period.  Enjoy your meal out, at least it sounds like there will be some SW friendly dishes to choose from.  Cocktails on the other hand tend to be Swip heavy especially if they have fruit juices in them.  I tend to stick to mojito when I have cocktails as it's only really the alcohol and a bit of sugar that has Swips in it!

    Afternoon all 😁

Bloody freezing here! Even DH said it's cold when he opened the door!

    Jwil, well done on maintain.

Jelly we are more or less the same, i gained 2.5 , last WI for me was 20th.

My friend weighed last week and had 4 gain, this week she smashed it and lost 6 1/2 👏 another lady got her 4 stone award 👏 she lost last week and then 3.5 this week.

Only 4 new joiners, usually there is loads in the New year.

Well i had to go Sainsburys after group to pick a parcel up from argos and my friend messaged me and said loads of reductions, i got a big reusable shopping bag full of cheese, cream and biscuits for less than £1 for the refuge 👏 got 2 (that's all there was) great big wedges of stilton 1p each and about 30 truckles of cheese 1p each 🤣🤣 biscuits were 7p.

Got my friend boxes of matchmakers for 22p, she loves anything mint chocolate. Didn't buy any for myself 😇😇😇
