Share trading platform for an infrequent trader

I had a wedge of shares on X-O which I would use to sell once a year (if that!)
I aim to sit on them long term and only sell when I really need the money (and/or their value is high). I'm not looking to buy any more.
X-O only used to charge a small fee per sale (the reason I put them there in the first place).
They have since kindly moved everyones stocks over to interactive investor who now wish to charge me £6/month for their services.
Is anyone aware of a platform such as X-O that doesn't charge a monthly fee??

Scottish Widows Share Dealing (formerly known as iWeb) are a forum favourite and have no ongoing charge and charge £5 per trade.Owen2003 said:Is anyone aware of a platform such as X-O that doesn't charge a monthly fee??
