I have indulged myself a little. Bought a copy of DWJ’s The Power of Three (£3.30 including postage) and subscribed to the permaculture magazine which I have been meaning to do for aaaages … 😊
I’m showered. Just have to throw some things around for work breakfast and lunch tomorrow and then I can flop 😊

Great choice of book, haven't read it for years. I am now making covetous eyes at the kindle copy.
ETA I have found my hard copy, happy days. I have kept all of my DWJ actually. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Just checking in as I haven't posted since Sunday.
Had a really tough day in work on Monday - felt utterly humiliated by a customer and not helped by the sales colleague on the call who also put the boot in ... Skipped the MumDance session on Monday evening as a result, as I didn't want to add any more demand to myself and Mr KK was out so I could have a quiet, chilled evening at home on my own, which was bliss ....!
Lost a bit of momentum on the healthy eating / exercising from this week. Partly due to Monday, partly due to January-ness, partly because I'm a bit lurgified, yet again 🙄 However, I am still having minimal UPF work lunches thanks to my HM soups, still doing some extra exercise (though different things singly each day rather than multiples of them) and am not yet feeling defeated.
I am re-reading the Huw Richards Permaculture book. I am amazed at how much more I am taking in and thinking I could use in my garden on a second read ... Based on that I have also signed up for his online course about "Time Management for Vegetable Gardeners With a Day Job" which I am rather enjoying
And finally I am completely emptying my craft cupboard this week as central heating pipes have to be re-routed to make the radiator in the living room work better - this means lifting a floor board under my craft cupboard (of course!). Filled 3 (small) boxes last night and will be taking another 6 home to plough on this evening - not how I want to spend my week nights I have to say, but hey, it has to be done before Friday afternoon when the plumber will reappear ... 🤷♀️

Sorry to hear about the shoddy day, glad you got some wind-down time.
Emptying cupboard doesn't sound the funnest but you'll be glad of warmer living room! Maybe you'll be able to clear some bits or get inspiration for a project 😊https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

Yes, I will definitely be glad of a warmer living room and I had planned to empty it out and review it, improve the storage in there etc. I just hadn’t planned on doing it until at least August when Mr KK would away for a week! 😂😂😉PennysIntoPounds said:Sorry to hear about the shoddy day, glad you got some wind-down time.

Anyway, it’s empty now and boxed up at one end of the room so the plumber and Mr KK can wrestle it around now 😊👏💪
One heavy lump of a kind of vinyl fabric that I used for a project years ago that I won’t ever repeat has already gone. I was going to CS it but Mr KK thinks it will be useful for one of his vehicles… 🤷♀️😊
There are soooo many projects in there! Most of them are unopened kits of one sort or another but there are a lot (maybe 8?) of part done knitting projects. I need to go through them and decide which of them I will ever finish - there’s at least two that I can see immediately that I won’t want to, and clear them out.I also need to massively improve the storage systems in there and how different crafts are collated - nobody will EVER need as many circular knitting needles as I have for example … 😉

Ah that all sounds well worthwhile, plan something very nice for tomorrow evening now you've got it all shifted.
Great that Mr KK could shop from home, he's so MSE and doesn't even know it 😁
Definitely get rid of the projects that don't spark joy, a hobby isn't meant to feel like homework.
I'm sure a local group or charity will be glad of the circular knitting needles, good to identify what is no longer needed 😊https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1
