Poor workmanship re: new boiler and poor customer service

Hi

So for the government scheme for where elderly get a new boiler done via a government grant. The contractor has come in and installed a boiler and done various other jobs. There are problems with the other jobs. I have arranged for the builder to give a time to come visit the property to resolve the matter but he cannot agree to a time and now has stood me up twice. I would like to complain. How can I escalate matters with his company? if he becomes unresponsive.

I would go by the scheme (Where you applied) that allowed you to claim the work in the 1st place.

I’m not sure the scheme would be responsible if the boiler done under the grant is fine and the issue was with the other work that was requested on top, and which I presume has been agreed and paid for separately?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Would need OP to explain what the work was & how paid.
