Knowing you can't benefit from their decent returns policy and have to rely only on UK statutory law, and even then will lose your account if something actually arrives broken.

That's going to be difficult without moving house. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.2 -
Won't work. I've seen partners of the person being banned having their account deleted too because they share an ip addressflaneurs_lobster said:

I doubt that they use IP addresses for tracking people. E.G. If they access Amazon via their phone then if they don't use WiFi then each phone has a totally different address.marcia_ said:

It will be other personal info such as address that will be used.2 -
Amazon doesn’t usually want food and drink items returned if you change your mind, so it might feel like a good wheeze to get a refund on these items. It depends how keen you are to continue shopping there.I’m not sure what algorithm Amazon uses, but it might be a good idea to order some free kindle books. You would obviously keep them, and that would reduce the proportion of returns by number, but not by value. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

I Imagine they will ban using a number of metrics including delivery address, account name, name on the payment card etc etcflaneurs_lobster said:

Sure there will be a way to circumvent all this but it would probably be a real pita1 -
Never said it was easy, the days when you could just use a different email address are long gone. Tried to sign up for a free new subscriber trial to Apple TV or Spotify recently?LightFlare said:

But people have cards in maiden names, partners, friends, second homes.
But probably best if people just stop "bracketing" and "wardrobing".0
