Fix render on corner of wall

Hi,I wonder if you can help. I had my front wall rendered 2 years ago and I think the postman/ dpd driver has hit it. There are two areas where the render has chipped off (see image) exposing the netting that the render binds onto. Rain water seems to disappear down the hole so assume it’s causing more damage. Can anyone suggest something to fill / cover this hole? I was thinking some kind of white external silicon? I’m not bothered about matching the exact colour just protecting the render…any ideas?

If you are unhappy with the cosmetic appearance after doing repair you could get a couple of Hockey Pucks, drill through them and fix so they are just sitting proud to provide a bumper type protection for the wall in future.
You can even get pucks with your local teams logo if you wanted to add a bit of interest.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0 -
Make life easy on yourself, Bartoni - I'd be inclined to consider this (I have used it, and it's great).Very slow setting, so it may be best to build it up in layers, but the first dob can seal up the holes. It has a sandy texture, just like pointing mortar, and you can texture it too using whatever will do the job to as closely match the pillar as you can.

Actually anyone know of any corner protectors for exterior walls? I’ve tried google but can’t find anything. They only need to be 40mm in width so not industrial level… cheers0
