@Nelliegrace in which case, we’ll appoint you Matron Emeritus, scaring your successor every time you walk near the cottage hospital because your standards are so high. 😉

We visited a busy Barnados charity shop yesterday, and among the clutter I found these. I gave £10, they were asking less. The hot water bottle is Lovatt’s Langley Ware made by Lovatt Potteries, Langley Mill, near Nottingham. Heatmaster was a range made by Ellgreave Pottery which was established by Henry Wood in 1921 and it operated as an associate company of Wood & Sons Ltd.

Is that an insulated cover for a teapot, @Nelliegrace ? Did it include the teapot? Quite a find!
It looks very stylish, too.

Those are lovely @Nelliegrace , and very practical too. The inner teapot is very similar in colour to the eggshell blue on Denby's Homestead range (which I collect) though there is some variation across individual pieces. Super colour. 😊

A spend to declare, and the first of the year… 3 bras, so 3 coupons spent. (And what a job to find them. I'm 36E, and there were none in the Bolton Middlewich branch, and just 2 in Carlisle - in any style!)
Love the insulated teapot. I've never seen one like that before.
