Oh I've seen these and was wondering whether I might do the same.
Got a couple of projects to finish first - the dreaded sewing up of a pullover, and almost finished one sock.
Declaring 2 long sleeve thermal tops(silk and wool no less!) to replace the threadbare ones I wear constantly. 6 coupons possibly?

Where did you find these? I have had 2 over the years that gradually disintegrated and would love another.

@Floss they are from 'earth wardrobe'. Quite pricey unfortunately but hopefully long lasting, and as with everything these days, I will darn and darn until there is nothing left to darn 😂

I wonder if there might be a sale in winter thermals in the UK in a few weeks? Our merino ones were half price 2 years ago, and it hasn’t been cold enough to need them yet.

Speak for yourself, @Nelliegrace. You’re obviously better adapted than this soft southerner. 🤣 I’ve been living in thermals for most of the last 3 months. (But then, I am from a city where it snows once every 40 years or so, and a day that doesn’t get above freezing in winter is almost unheard of.)
My biggest problem is that the merino thermals we purchased from a nearby ski-shop have not lasted. I am unsure whether said ski-shop has a moth problem or if it a quality issue. (I’d know if I had a moth problem, with all the yarn, etc, I own.). Certainly, the top I purchased 3-4 winters ago developed holes fairly quickly. (I now wear it on cold days under my fleece, when I go running at 6am.) Last winter, DH and I purchased a second set each. So far, the top of mine is fine, but the bottoms of both have become quite religious. I will swear that one set of holes in mine developed while I was wearing them and sitting at a desk all day to work.

I bought 2 Per Una merino l/s turtleneck tops from an M&S outlet 3 years ago ahead of an Icelandic cruise. Around the same time I also found a couple of crew neck l/s merino tops in Primark in their EDIT line. There are also other merino, cashmere & good cotton items in the range, which refreshes each season.
I've just bought a pair of b/n boots from Vinted - are they coupon free?

I've got a feeling that the merino wool thermals I bought for OH and myself for the Norway trip last year were made in Denmark. Not cheap, but I did buy them in the sales, which helped. I found them online.

@Floss probably, but it depends. Was the seller an individual clearing their wardrobe? That would make them second hand. If so, then yes, the boots are coupon free so long as they cost less than £100. Anything purchased second hand but for more than £100, will cost the regular coupon price.

I have worn thermal leggings under jog pants or trousers, but only the cheap supermarket ones which I have had for years. We haven’t had many days with below freezing temperatures here in South Staffordshire, just a lot of grey wet days.

I have two spends to declare. 5 coupons for a mixed fibre sparkly evening jumper (in the sales) and 2 coupons for wool to make a Melt the Ice cap -currently on the needles.
