    TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Ambassador Cruise Line - Ambience x Greatest Hits Radio x Jenny Powell on air” (the “Competition”).

    2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

    There will be 4 (four) winners of the competition in total.

    Entrants will need to register via the competition website as detailed in section 1, leaving their contact details including name, phone number and email address.

    Entrants personal details will only be used in the event that they are a chosen finalist to come to air, and/or a winner.

    Each week, for 4 weeks, the below process will be repeated. 

    - 10 finalists will be chosen by electronic random draw from all valid entries.

    - We will attempt to contact the 1st chosen finalist by a phone call & invite them to take part in the pre-recorded on air competition. 

    - If we cannot get in touch with the 1st chosen winner, we will then move onto the 2ndchosen finalist and repeat this process until we find a suitable finalist to take part.

    - The selected finalist will be asked to confirm that should they win, that they are available to come on the cruise, on the selected dates. If they cannot confirm or cannot attend the cruise, we reserve the right to go to the next finalist.

    - This competition will then be pre-recorded (off air) each Thursday.

    DATES

    - Week 1 finalists will be chosen at 10am on 07/01/26, contacted to play on 08/01/26 and the competition will air on 11/01/26

    - Week 2 finalists will be chosen at 10am on 14/01/26, contacted to play on 15/01/26 and the competition will air on 18/01/26

    - Week 3 finalists will be chosen at 10am on 21/01/26, contacted to play on 22/01/26 and the competition will air on 25/01/26

    - Week 4 finalists will be chosen at 10am on 28/01/26, contacted to play on 29/01/26 and the competition will air on 01/02/26

    MECHANIC

    The finalist selected, will be played a short clip of one Greatest Hits Radio playlist song, performed in a ships horn style and asked the artist and title of this song. The chosen song will be of nautical, water, ship theme. The finalist will then be presented with a multiple choice A or B answer. If they get the correct answer, they will be deemed the winner by the presenter. If they don’t get the answer correct, we will move onto the next finalist and repeat this process until a winner is found. 

    Please note, by a member of the Greatest Hits Radio production team contacting you, does not mean that you have won. The presenter and production team will indicate the chosen winner.

    All final editing decisions will rest with the Greatest Hits Radio Production team. The Greatest Hits Radio

    Production team reserve the right to pre-record any part of this competition with contestants before the

    'as-live' broadcast.

    If the contestant wins a prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and

    conditions, nor the general competitions terms and condition, or that they are not available on the cruise dates,

    they will be disqualified.

    The same pool of entries will be used throughout the entire entry period, meaning that an entrant’s chances of winning may decrease throughout the entry period, as entry numbers increase.

    3. ENTRY PERIOD 

    Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:

    On-air Competition

    There will be 4 (four) winners of the on air competition.

    The competition entry period will open on Monday 29/12/25 at 00:01 (start time), and close on Wednesday 28/01/26 at 10:00 (end time)

    The name and the home town of the winner(s) will be announced on the shows that the competition is in.

    4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS 

    · Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.

    · Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

    · We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

    The chosen winner will be contacted by Bauer Media following their win, on the contact details left with the production team on entering. If Bauer Media cannot make contact or receive no reply from a winner within 14 working days, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize.

    Full description of prizes

    5 (Five) prizes are available on the Greatest Hits Escape II with Ambassador Cruise Line.

    Each days prize comprises of the below, for 2 people (aged 18 or over):

    · One twin or double cabin, (Ocean view cabin) for 2 people sharing the same cabin.

    · Comfortable accommodation in chosen cabin category

    · Exceptional full board cuisine (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner)

    · A wide range of entertainment, including evening shows, plays, cabarets, live music.

    · Theatre@Sea - Ambassador's exclusive on board selection of short plays, vignettes and more

    · Range of fitness, dance and wellness classes

    · Use of gym, swimming pool and hot tubs

    · Spa access (Fees for certain treatments apply)

    · Porterage of luggage between the port and cabin.

    · All port taxes, fees and charges

    · Extras not included: port parking, onboard gratuities and service charges where a drinks package has not been purchased (automatically billed to the onboard account), optional shore excursions, discretionary expenditure of a personal nature including hot and cold alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, gifts, shopping, laundry, wifi and communication, and any visa & health certificate charges that may apply

    · The Prize includes return transfers from the winners’ home mainline railway station or in some cases, nearest airport to the port of Tilbury.

    · Travel insurance for both travellers

    · Ken Bruce, Jackie Brambeles, Jenny Powell & Kate Thornton will be scheduled to provide entertainment on board the cruise. This entertainment is subject to change and cancellation at short notice. By winning, we do not guarantee access to any of the event performance(s) or any of the Greatest Hits Radio talent. 

    · Ken Bruce and Jackie Brambles will not be onboard the ship for the full duration of the cruise. 

    · The Prizes are for the Greatest Hits Radio Escape with Ambassador Cruise Line only and are not transferrable and no cash alternative is available. All winners must ensure that that they are able to travel 27th March to 3rd April 2026. The ship departs at 5 pm 27th March 2026, dependent on your location you may need to also be available 26th March 2026 to travel to Tilbury docks in London in advance of the cruise departure time, likewise the winner may be required to travel back on the 4th April 2026 (depending on their home location). The date(s) of the cruise are fixed and cannot be changed. Anyone who cannot travel on these dates for any reason will forfeit their prize.

    Conditions of Prize 

     

    · It is the responsibility of the winner to make sure they embark the ship (at each departure port) at the required time. Any winner who does not make the departure time will be required to make their own further travel arrangements at their own cost. 

    · Winners will be required to set up an Ambassador account on board using a credit / debit card. This is mandatory.

    · All winners and their travelling companion must have a valid passport (with 6 months validity remaining after the cruise return date) to participate in the Prize sailing.

    · All winners will be required to attend a safety briefing once on board.

    · The Prize cannot be sold, exchanged, bartered, raffled, auctioned or redeemed for cash or money’s worth.

    · The Winner will have 28 days to confirm acceptance of the Prize and must provide passenger details for themselves and their nominated guest including passport details. Failure to provide details within that time may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

    · We recommend that before travel, you check UK Government advice at www.gov.uk/coronavirus and Public Health England at www.gov.uk/government/organisations/public-health-england and the national health authorities of any countries you will visit, for the latest advice and information about travel, your health and safety, and more.

    · Pregnant women are highly recommended to seek medical advice prior to travel at any stage of their pregnancy. Women who are up to 23 weeks pregnant at the end of the cruise are required to produce a medical certificate of fitness to travel. The Carrier cannot for safety reasons carry pregnant Passengers of 28 weeks or more by the end of the cruise. The Carrier reserves the right to request a medical certificate at any stage of pregnancy and to refuse passage if the Carrier and/or the Master are not satisfied that any pregnant passenger will be safe during the passage.

    · Ambassador Cruise Line reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Prize, or any part of it if any fraud, technical failures, unlawful act or any other factor beyond Ambassador Cruise Line reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Prize, such factors to be determined by Ambassador Cruise Line at its sole discretion.

    · Changes to the Prize can be made by Ambassador Cruise Line at any time without prior notice in order to comply with any legal obligations, operational reasons, or at the Captain’s discretion.

    · It is your responsibility to ensure that you (and any of your guests) are fit, well and able to travel.     · All passengers must follow the vessel’s instructions and procedures relating to all matters including health, safety, hygiene and security. If in our opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any of our other guests or any third party or damage to property, or to cause a delay or diversion to transportation, we reserve the right to terminate your booked arrangements with us immediately. In the event of such termination our liability to you and/or your party will cease and you and/or your party will be required to leave your cruise or other service immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and/or your party. No refunds for lost services will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party.     1. Do not use offensive or abusive language towards our officers, crew, staff or any other guest.

    2. Keep noise to levels appropriate to the time and location.

    3. Do not behave or engage in an inappropriate or abusive manner. This includes but is not limited to uninvited physical contact, harassment, theft, violence etc.

    4. Do not behave in a discourteous or disruptive manner. Respect your fellow guests and treat each other courteously. Obey the ship’s rules and follow the direction of crew members.

    5. Do not participate in unsafe behaviour. This includes but is not limited to sitting, climbing on/over or standing on any interior or exterior barriers or railings. Guest entry into restricted or crew areas is not permitted.

    6. Do not engage in illegal activities including use of drugs or any kind of smuggling. Any winner found to contravene this will be immediately asked to disembark the ship and handed over to appropriate government and law enforcement authorities. Any costs or assistance required including their return back to the UK will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

    7. Be responsible if/when drinking alcohol. Ambassador Cruise Line has a very strict RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) policy which is strictly enforced. Do not supply alcohol to a minor (even if they are in your family) or to a guest who is unduly intoxicated. This is illegal and against ship policy. The legal drinking age onboard is 18.

    The consequences of failing to adhere to this policy may result in the Captain exercising his rights under the Passage Conditions including but not limited to, removal of certain onboard privileges including access to alcohol, confinement, disembarkation or other appropriate actions including reporting to appropriate government and law enforcement authorities. Any costs involved in repair, clean up or repatriation will be the responsibility of the guest.

    The responsibility for safety and security lies with everyone. Any unsafe or potentially illegal behaviour or situations should be reported immediately to onboard security or ship’s management. Ambassador Cruise Line appreciates your full support of this policy and we hope you
