Love this @ShelivesintheShireShelivesintheShire said:13/20 here. Grocery shopping done from budgeted Monzo pot.
I must admit to finding it hard, but I am learning to exercise my 'you do not need it ' muscle. So many times I have been on the brink of ordering something ( a tartan scarf for Burns Night on Vinted, or a book from World of Books) then I remember my pledge to not buy clothes and read all the books I own (I borrowed a tartan scarf from a friend in the end!)
i said to myself I wouldn’t buy any new clothes last year.
i got to about October and genuinely needed a new coat and shoes. Bought both from charity shops. I was very proud of myself. Total was £7.50 and I get compliments about both too 🤩2 -
