Have a look at an annual policy at insurancewith.com we've used them last few years, they are tailored for people with medical issues to declare.
I find they offer us an annual policy when I fill in the info, bit not a single trip. But it's MUCH cheaper through them for us as a couple. Mexico is a higher price anyway, similar to US.
