Morning all
Cold but dry here which I much prefer to rain, I have a towel load to hang out and another load to put in the wm.
Nan I hope Mr fix it recovers from his fall soon xx
Another quiet day here just a bit of housework to do and dogs to be walked other than that nothing on the cards, I still have the bits to buy for the utility refurb so might get on with that today.
DD is working a late today so just OH and I here for dinner, I shall make a prawn cocktail and we will have it with smoked salmon and some salad and crusty bread for me, OH will have his GF bread which is really not very tasty.

Hello all, another here with a bad night but only because Mr Fix it moaned loudly every time he turned over or moved, he seems in more pain now than when he fell. My Dad didn't want to talk to me last night when I phoned, he's probably got a bee in his bonnet about something I've done, or haven't done, so my call only lasted about 10 mins.
It's a grey old day today but the wind has died down a bit. I sorted out the fridge and freezer yesterday so I'm just having a tidy round today.

I got up late yesterday and went back to bed after an hour slept till 4.30. Think DH has passed on his cold although i seem to have more of a cough. Hearing from friends and family it seems the cold/flu hasnt missed many this year. We had a mix and match tea yesterday didnt feel up to cooking.
Today is pie and mash so easy.

Morning folks, thanks for starting us off @Scarlet and thanks also to @-taff for today's song - although I hope it doesn't snow! It's not likely since today is another rinse and repeat of cloud and murkiness.

Another lazy day yesterday but I did manage to stir myself enough to go through the fridge contents and had leftover roasties, sprouts and carrots for tea - sliced and fried until brown and crispy on the outside, egg on top and a drizzle of brown sauce. Probably not the healthiest of meals but it was very tasty and used up 'bits'.
On today's dinner plate will be cooked chicken reheated in gravy with freshly cooked potatoes and veg. Nice as all the seasonal treats are, my stomach is telling me it wants 'proper' food!
@nanny - I was hoping it was only Mr Fix It's dignity that was bruised after his fall, I hope he has a more comfortable night tonight after your Nurse efforts. Sorry to hear your DF wasn't more talkative as well.
@TA - Oh no, let's hope the WM is the last of the 3's!
@Gers - At least the egg mayo sandwich was reasonably healthy!
Right, time to see what I can have for lunch (I think there could be some small sausage rolls lurking in the fridge

Happy birthday Remmie have a lovely day . I’ve just popped in to say hello to everyone I don’t know where today has gone we took the decorations down this morning I know it’s early but my old tree was looking sadly past its best so off we went to the tip I called and got some shopping for my friend and a few reduced bits for myself I made her a cuppa and had a bit tidy round one of her daughters was coming later I’ve used the last of the turkey up with some veg that was a bargain and it was delicious i will be looking out for it again next year . Nanny hope Mr fix it is feeling better soon I won’t mention the sleepless nights I’m the world’s worst sleeper and I agree I have tried everything nothing works . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11
