International postage options via ebay label changes

I'm not sure if this will make any difference to the majority of us- but this now shows on my ebay label page:
From 5th January, Royal Mail International Signed and Royal Mail Tracked & Signed services will no longer be available for sold items. Labels for these services will be accepted by Royal Mail until 12th January. You can continue to use Royal Mail International Standard. Soon we will make available Royal Mail International Tracked too!

Doesn't eBay want us to use a tracked service? Standard I don't think has any tracking and only compensation up to £20. Won't this leave sellers vulnerable if an item goes missing?0
