❄️🎀✨🎄☃️🎄✨🎀❄️
We're walking in the air...
we're floating in
the moonlit sky...
the people far below
are sleeping as we fly...
I'm holding very tight
I'm riding in
the midnight blue…

Morning! Again no rain but a biting wind. Went round OHs mums ofr BD tea yesterday ,watched a couple of films, came ohme and watched the new Stranger Things episods. Today my sister is coming up so things to do prepping there although we'll be having Chrsitmas roast again so no thought required for that and everything is already made. There will be some conversations ot have, I spent last night thinking about them for hours so didn't get much sleep, got stuck in the endless loop of conversations in your head..
Gers, must be nice to be hoe and you're right, what a star! Glad you all seemed to have had a nice time, and sorry to the ones finding it all a bit too much or a bit sad, but remember, summer and sun are coming...

Morning everyone it’s not bad cold and dull but it is December I keep telling myself I have got a load of washing out it’s on the airer there’s not a lot but it keeps the pile down I’m going to keep busy today I’ve had a couple of lazy days plus I’ve eaten my own body weight in chocolate I’ve just washed the front door mat for shame,s sake I couldn’t look at it any longer it should dry soon I’ve got it hung on the line because it’s rubber backed but I will wait until we have lit the fire and bring it in . I’m going to have a good sort out in the kitchen I couldn’t believe how many kitchen cupboards I had when I moved into this house just over four years ago and didn’t know how I was going to fill them I am now thinking of ways I can fit another cupboard in to put stuff it’s not happening I’m going to get them sorted I’m on a mission . I’ve still got plenty of turkey left I got 3 cakes in a hamper they look lovely but I’ve put them in the freezer out of sight out of mind. I’ve been out and got bread that’s all I needed but bought some fruit I need something light . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning all
Cold but bright here with a good breeze, we have the dogs blankets in the wm so will hang them out once done, there is another load to go in after.
Yesterday was quite quiet we sorted out our presents and found homes for them and then had a rest in the afternoon, we had cold meat mash peas and pickles for dinner.
Tonight I will put out all the picky bits that are left and try to finish them off, we have a load of cheese left but that will keep for ages.
Might run the hoover round later but nothing too taxing.
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning all, thanks for starting off today's thread @Scarlet. @Gers - What a lovely delivery driver! Take it easy for now and sleep as/when you need to. Thanks @-taff for the carol.
Here it's another cloudy and damp day that should stay dry but the occasional shower can't be ruled out, light winds, temperatures in the lower single figures. I did think about going out for a walk yesterday but soon scotched that idea when I put out the rubbish - despite the sunshine, it was freezing! Instead, I lounged around doing not a lot - a bit of TV, some cross stitch, another jigsaw puzzle started and unhealthy picky bits consumed.
The post-Xmas lethargy has set in so today will most likely be more of the same. There are some jobs I could do but they can wait although I do need to work out what to eat up first vs what to freeze. I'll not be haunting the SM for a while, that's for sure.
Whether you're out and about or being a stay-at-home today, I hope you have a lovely time. Hugs for the poorly and sad ones as always. Take care all. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.10 -
Morning all, it's sunny and cold but add on the wind chill and it's freezing outside. We had a lovely time on xmas day with DD and family marred only by Mr Fix It tripping up over the kerb after filling the car with presents when we were coming home. He went down like a sack of potatoes and we thought it was a 999 job as we couldn't get him back on his feet and he wasn't making much sense, but finally with the help of GDS we got him back in DD's house. We got home and nurse nanny took over.
His face now looks like he's done a couple of rounds in the boxing ring, he's cracked a few ribs and scraped the skin off his knee, thankfully he's got a bit of padding or it may have been much worse.
Yesterday everyone came to ours and we had curry, then Sil went home ( he's a bit anti social and doesn't do silly) and we were all left to play daft party games. We did a version of traitors which was hilarious, who knew we could be so devious.
Today I had a much needed lie in but I'm so stiff and in pain that not much will be done today. I need to sort out the fridge and freeze some leftovers but I'll leave some picky bits for tea, then that'll do for today.
I hope the Christmas period was kind to everyone. Peace and hugs to all

@nannywindow - I hope Mr. Fix It is feeling better. Falling like that can really shake a person up. He should take it easy for a few days.
@Chrisca50 - Some Like It Hot is one of my favorite movies also. I like the old musicals and comedies the best.4
