Fiver Friday Challenge 2026

Mine is intended (as last year) to pay for our festive food and drink. Last year I managed to pay for it all from our standard grocery budget and so I still have £260 from last year as well as this year’s total plus a wee bit of interest. If I don’t need it, I shall just roll it along until a situation arises that needs a wee bit of cash. It’s such an easy way to save up. It’s not noticeable and I love the fact that I have a cushion in case tough times turn up.
Ps, I think the yoga sessions are a great idea x

My birthday is in January so I’m thinking of for a dog friendly place with a hot tub that I can book for a few days away.
Find a little bit of joy in every day.

I've been thinking about this recently. My Nan (my last Grandparent) died 2 weeks before Xmas last year. My parents when they gave me some Xmas cash included xtra as a last gift from Nan. I haven't spent it. I think I will put all the money together and buy a piece of jewellery. Following me getting caught in a torrential downpour last summer, whilst wearing costume jewellery, I now sometimes get a reaction to it so need to swap to precious metals.
