You will be using the template defence in announcements near the top of the forum
Please don't show us the template defence here though. We don't need to check it and you can copy & adapt anyone else's generic paragraph 3.
Doesn't matter. It will still be discontinued!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Keep to the forum plan and a little later in the year you will have your name in lights on the following thread.

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Good morning,
I’m looking for advice on next steps regarding a private parking court claim.
I’ve submitted my Defence to the court. I’ve now received an email from DCB Legal stating that their client intends to proceed with the claim and that both parties will be directed to file Directions Questionnaires in due course. They’ve also attached a copy of the Claimant’s completed Directions Questionnaire and invited me to call them within 7 days to discuss settlement.
I haven’t contacted them and I’m unsure whether I should:
- Ignore the settlement invitation,
- Respond regarding email service only,
- Or take any specific action now before the court issues directions.
I’d be grateful for guidance on:
- What to do at this stage of the process,
- How to handle the Directions Questionnaire when it arrives,
- Whether there is any benefit or risk in engaging with DCB Legal about settlement.
Many thanks for your help.

it’s all in the “Newbies” thread.
They have no intention of settling. They just want you to pay
