Hi @MrsCD it's a contraction of hitting pan (using eyeshadow or foundation down to the metal pan in the bottom)

Sob, I'm hitting pan on an Elizabeth Arden brow shadow which is just the right shade of dark brown so I don't look clown like and they don't make it any more

Just watched on YouTube people who are doing the “project pan”. Realised I’ve been doing this for years, who knew I would be a trendsetter.

I’ve been trying this Project Pan with my shower gels. My friend used to work for the Body Shop so, every Christmas and birthday, she kindly gave me my favourite shower gels. Trouble is, you only need a tiny bit and it lasts forever. She stopped working for them 3 years ago and I still have a full pump bottle and two totally unopened ones! On the plus side, I haven’t bought shower gel for at least 7 or 8 years!!

Is it me, or has anyone else noticed that spray deodorant seems to be used up much quicker these days? An aerosol used to last me almost a year, I’ve already used up 2 this year and I didn’t think the can was any smaller….is it just me or has shrinkflation struck again?

Deodorant has definitely got less in the aerosol recently @suzeesu2000ayne it is just on the island!🤣

Yep, me too!

The light colours on a palette always go first because I use them as a base under the brighter ones.

I've been favouring my pink and brown shades. Perhaps this will lead me to experiment more with my blues and purples?

My crystal rock deodorant lasts about 18 months. I stocked up on the plastic free, Salt of the Earth ones on offer this year. It works.

Ditto @Nelliegrace. I usually buy them when they're on a 3-for-2 offer. If I could figure out a reliable way of dislodging the final piece of the crystal from the plastic base, it'd last even longer.

You can dissolve the last bit of crystal in water and put it in a spray bottle. I use it on my feet when I'm wearing sandals. Sandals make my feet smell whereas closed shoes don't. You think it would be the other way around, wouldn't you?

Good evening, Frugalers 😊🍀 My biggest save over the past month was my four leaf clover but it hasn't brought me any luck, yet. Ever hopeful.

Raspberries aplenty at the minute so I've been picking those. Blueberries are still very green and the apples have a good few weeks to go yet. More potatoes planted and a basket of Olio bread stuff to get used up - goats and ponies get their share. Supermarket order was a ridiculous amount and I'm now going to mention the dreaded 'car' word. This month it needs MOT, so it's booked in next week. I should have sold it a year ago as it's sat doing practically nothing and I hadn't SORNed it.

I topped up my premium bonds a little and continue to live in hope of a big win.

Despite my continued efforts to find help at the project, none has been forthcoming so I'm not sure what to do next. Anyone got any fresh ideas for anything I haven't yet tried? All regular methods have been attempted.
