@sallyp2 Lloyds. We have a joint current account and each have our own with £1000 going around them each month. If you deposit that amount in an account every month it doesn't matter if it goes out again in 3 days!

That’s what I do with my (spare) Lloyds account to get my free Good Housekeeping magazine every month! The requirement is to pay in £2000 per month for the Club Lloyds account now, which I do manually on the first of each month - and then immediately send it back to my main bank one minute later 🤣

No - as long as you pay in the required £2000 a month (doesn’t have to be in one lump sum, you can do several smaller payments, and of course it doesn’t have to stay there a minute longer than you want it to) the monthly fee is waived. So it is a free account, and you can choose a free magazine to be sent to you every month (or free cinema tickets, or other things - there are a few choices of different perks).

Good morning all,
it's a bit cloudy here today but the rain has done wonders and the grass seems to be growing again in the fields.
After a month of inertia regarding finances ( head-in-sand mode was activated due to extreme unexpected car expenses) I spent a couple of hours yesterday re-setting my goals and spending app.
The Four Day Fund is going on hiatus for a few months whilst I concentrate on rebuilding my easy access emergency fund. I'll be using the same savings methods of regular monthly payments, scooping over untidy pennies, premium bond wins and cashback.
I have also re-activated my monthly budgeting account and as of today I have £117.37p left until payday which is 3 weeks away and 4 family birthdays. Thankfully, 3 of them will only require cards and stamps which can be taken from my stash.
Thank you to past-me for thinking ahead 😁
Have a lovely day x
