Do a search on here for Tempur - about 12 threads

I just have the pillow, but I'd be tempted by a mattress in future. The pillow is about 8 years old and still in great condition

I've been looking at the pillows but not sure which one to get. Have you got the one like an ordinary pillow or the shaped one? At £65/70 they're not cheap so any advice very welcome! :) Thanks:)

Hi Mercman
We bought a Tempur-alike from John Lewis, made exclusively for JL by Staples, called 'Impressions'.

we went for broke and got the biggest size ( + frame from www.warrenevans.com/) and don't regret it, money well spent, very pleased with the bed !:j

the mattress is fantastic. I have a chronic pain condition, so being as comfortable and supported is important. I spend a lot of time in bed as have to rest during the day so feel it's important to get it right.

for some reason JL don't feature the super king size mattress ( cost £795?) on their site
but it's availale in the real life shop, and can be ordered over the phone.

Would just like to add Warren Evans are an excellent bed shop. While I didn't buy a Tempur matterss from them (which they do sell) I found them a top rate outfit to buy my bed.

Matalan had the memory foam pillows last year for about £15 - they might still be stocking them?

I hate to be the negative one, but we bought a Tempura pillow and had to take it back.

We bought it for my husband, who has MS and doesn't have the strength to turn over in the night. He found that he sank into the pillow so that only the top nostril was breathable through. If that became blocked he wasn't able to breathe or move so that he could breathe. Very dangerous, we thought. And fortunately we were able to convince the store that sold it to us (who had a strict 'no returns' policy) that it wasn't fit for purpose as I had explained about hubby not being able to turn over.

We have a Dunlopillo bed and pillows, which seem to do the job very nicely!

I bought a memory foam mattress topper from QVC about 2/3 years ago. It isn't a Tempur one BUT it is very, very good and considerably cheaper (which whilst not the most important consideration at the time, it was a bonus to only have to spend approx £200 ish rather than £700+.

Good luck, being comfortable in bed is very important!

I'm two weeks into my tempur pillow experience and still not used to it. I bought the extra large queen original (the shaped top one). I think it might be a little large as I have neck ache in the mornings. My girlfriend hated hers for ages, but wouldnt be without it now. I'll see how it goes....
