Child benefits after divorce

Hi i am new here i have a situation hoping to have information from here…
my child is 4 years old she hold Romanian passport and settled status in uk(indefinite)
i have been divorced after divorce I applied for retained to reside in uk the gave me again pre settled status…… i have received child benefits before divorce its on mu ex husbands name he hold settled status..after he left ….child is with me so I applied on my name they said we need ur EE spouse information like NIN ,address,etc thing.. and they said u not hold a settled status….what should i do now after divorce i dont know where he lives and whats his information…is any one here who guides me …because i already called child benefits office they said we dont know just letter to them..i wrote my whole situation but still they rejected…

They will need to confirm you have legal custody of your child and that the marriage lasted a few years and that your husband was employed while in the UK.
Book an appointment with the local Citizens Advice, the passport agency should be able to find out the ex status provided nothing legal is currently open.1 -

No worries probably take a while to get a citizens advice appointment near Christmas. But phone and email them regarding an appointment or if it's local pop in.0
