APCOA fine Stansted Airport drop off

Hi, we received a fine after forgetting to pay the drop off fee until a few days later, it was a very early morning drop off!
It's a lease car so not the registered keeper and they have passed on the fine to us.
My question is can I still appeal not being the registered keeper?
I couldn't find any info in other threads relating to not being the registered keeper.
Thanks in advance

Who is the charge notice addressed to, you or the lease company? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes but have they passed on your name and address? That's what you need.twinkledesigns said:Hi, it was addressed to the lease company. They have not paid it and forwarded it to us.
You seem to have missed the whole section about company/lease vehicle appeals, at the end of post 1 of the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
