Well done, Another one bites the dust !

Gladstones never turn up at hearings, but sometimes a 3rd party advocate is tasked with the job

The other gutter legal firms don't attend either, its a standard M.O

Gladstones Solicitors will pay you, but may need a prod plus your bank details

Now to report PPE to the CMA, with all your evidence of being dragged to court over this farce:

Parking ticket issued for approximately 5 minutes 58 seconds, driver does not leave the car, passenger does, and then returns. I was not the driver, he (passenger) was reading the sign and then left, writing was very small and he is elderly.

In short, … parking was below the 10 minute grace period, the driver never left the car, in effect the terms were being read, considered and refused by leaving / not parking up…"

The above immediate ticketing (but sent later by post) is plainly unfair; to issue a PCN in the circumstances you describe is a breach of the DMCC Act 2024 and not in good faith.

Now, if you have not yet seen and read the CMA's Open Letter and consumer protection compliance warning to the parking industry 2 weeks ago, we suggest you go read it over the weekend.

    You'll see!

This is the style to aspire to with your email:

CMA Contact emails (use both, the first one goes directly to their parking investigation) :

    parking@cma.gov.uk

    general.enquiries@cma.gov.uk

Your email could see an investigation opened. The CMA cannot reply as such about individual cases but they are collecting evidence right now so we believe their parking investigations team will look at all well-constructed emails with images of photos (zoomed in on the 5 minute timing) & documents & court claims and judge's decisions, as proof of what people are going through.

Do the right thing to protect others from what you went through. We predict many parking operators will get investigated and fined massively. This is the ultimate fightback.
