Welcome to July savers and we are half way through the year. I have added £89.59 to my savings account for October and knocked off the dates on my 1p challenge board. Total now stands at £463.60 with two months to go.

Can I encourage you to check out @MSE_Stephen thread on the 1p Challenge test thread on the link below.

I have started my own 1p challenge thread and am using it alongside this thread but from next year we will all be using the new system rather than me setting up a spreadsheet and everyone posting on one thread. Each saver will have their own thread and will be responsible for updating it themselves.

Something I struggled with initially and did not seem clear was the system for updating totals. What you do is after going to your individual initial thread with the challenge board on it you edit the first post each time and strike through the amounts as you save. This changes the total at the top of the thread.

HI @LittleMissDetermined I must have a difference somewhere as I have you down as having a total of £607.40 not £590.40. Are my totals for each month wrong?

    January £75.64

    February £65.41

    March £217.09

    April £81.60

    May £106.59

    June £61.07

Spreadsheet updated and here is a link to show savers their progress so far. As I said further up the page next year this challenge will be taken on to the main board so I will not be running it. Please check out the 1p challenge test board to get an idea of how it will be run next year.
