London Hotel needed near British Museum

I'm trying to book to come down from Scotland and see the Terracotta Warriors - I'm looking for a decent, cheap hotel for one night at the end of February near the British Museum - decent as I will be a single woman on her own, cheap as under £100 - the flights alone are going to be about £100 from searching tonight, and although I lived in London for years I'm not sure which new hotels (if any) have opened up in that area. Any advice would be gratefully received as I want to book this weekend for my trip. Thanks in advance.

I have stayed at the Royal National before, it's ok and they do have single rooms but expect to pay dear for it!
Any hotel in the Bloomsbury area will be near the British Museum0 -
Have you tried checking Travelodge rooms?
There are still some available for £29 a night towards the end of Feb. Covent Garden is probably the nearest but the Farrindon or the KX hotels are all within easy distance via tube/bus.

I had looked at the Travelodge, and can get that for £59 in Convent Garden, I had just wondered whether there was anywhere else I hadn't thought of - thanks for your reply.0

Cheap travelodge is your best bet. Otherwise, the Tavistock is a bit nicer than the Royal National, and maybe a little cheaper. (The Royal National is OK, but the breakfast was so disgusting I couldn't eat it.)0
