Possible reduction on standing charge

Do you think that the possible reduction on the standing charge next year would apply to people on fixed rates?

    Some suppliers will. There's a link to the ones that have declared so far in the weekly email.

    That does not relate to possible SC reduction, proposal to move WHD costs from SC to Unit rate is currently out for consultation.

    I thought that was just about the £150 fuel reduction not the standing charge?

    Quite possibly. I didn't pay much attention, as my supplier isn't on the list yet.

    Supposed to be some zero or very low s/c tariffs in January but really low users will either be excluded or have to pay for a minimum usage, Octopus may concentrate their low s/c on their TOU tariffs but Ofgem are probably going to let the energy retailers wriggle out of it some way or another.
