Hi MSE,

Received a County Court Claim Notice dated 09.12 don't believe this is in relation to the others and expect a lot more to come.

The letter claims I owe the sum of £447.48, as I have not paid or agreed to a suitable resolution.

Is this a forewarning letter that a claim is on its way?

No it is a claim form......
  • How do I respond to this - is this a case of waiting for the forms to arrive from the Civil National Business Centre ?

Something from Moorside Legal or an N1SDT claim form pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL. ?

Interesting. There is no purpose in sending a letter to say a county court claim has been issued AND ask for a payment of £447 today UNLESS a county court claim has not been issued and you are trying to trouser hundreds of extra pounds.

    That would be fraud.

I'd be intrigued if a claim does not arrive within the next 2 weeks. Further action would be warranted, even if one does arrive if the timescales would suggest a period of attempting to scam people out of non-existent court fees.

Is this related to either of your other two threads?
  • I don't believe so

Will wait to see if anything arrives in the post..... and will let you know over the coming weeks.

What would you expect the timeframe to receive claim if issued - 2-3 weeks as Christmas in between?
