Ticketmaster GIFT CARD USE

I have been given a Ticketmaster Gift card. In trying to buy some tickets for a London musical the payment section only shows use of credit cards number. `no links to a partner site shown. Response from Ticketmaster is to buy the tickets I want, send then the ticket reference numbers, the gift card number and the pin. Then i will get a refund. Have others used this route and had their refund. Response has come from a genuine ticketmaster email but does seem an odd way to do things.

Are you booking through the ticketmaster site? It has a gift card option before you select your payment method.

Thanks - but not on the High Society ticketmaster route. No gift card link shown before clicking on the payment - just card or paypal

That's strange. Maybe it's specific to the Barbican, the gift card terms do say they're accepted for 'most' events. At least TM have offered you a solution, even if it's a bit convoluted.
