Thanks for the reply. I was surprised by the low offer. I can't really understand from their email why they're putting it up. I will try and speak to a human being there. (Not easy, of course.) But it seems odd that they should be able to make such a low offer as part of this Club.0

What were your unit rates and standing charges with SP, and what are they now? I've spoken to British Gas now. They said they made the low offer based on an analysis of summer usage, but now winter is here they have had to put it up. They didn't say that when they made the switch offer so it strikes me as pretty disingenuous.0

Energy Companies prefer to quote costs based on actual annual usage consumer states prior to deciding to switch, Often consumers tick low, medium or high user then get quote based on average consumer usage.PlymSim said:I've spoken to British Gas now.
