Balance question.

Hello! Last day of AP, do I enter account balance or available balance that is on bank ATM receipt?
Difference of £200.

    I would go with Account Balance, as Available balance incudes authorisation which can take up to 14 days to debit (card regs)

    Reason, if you have to submit a statement, which will only show Account Balance on a given date.

    That was often the case in the past but I'm sure banks were forced to stop including any overdraft facility amount in the figure titled 'avaliable balance' as it could be misleading.

    Yes, but just needed to clarify  do I record “available balance” or “account balance “ from ATM statement?
