Don't discuss the case, only money

No offer, thank you, goodbye , or a very low offer like £10

It is just a 'nothing' stage. Two minutes. Phone down.

Do not be bullied or misled by the Mediator about costs risk (they are wrong). And you DON'T have to explain your defence.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thanks guys. Mediation done and now after the few months since I’ve received ‘notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing)’ there is no date mentioned for witness statement only what a witness statement should include? I’m wondering when I need to prepare this for and how to submit?

The deadline is on page 2, the page that few people read

The WS advice is in the often ignored paragraph 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

"I’m wondering when I need to prepare this for and how to submit?"

It's either on page 2 or on a previous Notice of Allocation you received earlier.

WS advice and a list of recommended exhibits is in paragraph 2 of the NEWBIES thread.

And read the WS by @JackR1 as that one has a good format and has the HHJ Moloney wording you need plus the link to that transcript and (I think) Chan and Akande, which you also need.

hi guys, I’ve gone through all paperwork and read the ‘notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing)’ 3 times. I’ve even took a picture and asked chat gpt if I’m missing anything, I see no date for WS?

In that case its 14 days before the hearing date (the default time)

As Above, but you rarely find a date, just one or more deadlines on page 2 , usually just the one

Its up to you to work out the deadline date from the information on page 2

The WS deadline IS on page 2 or it was on the earlier Notice of Allocation from your court.
