Defence help?

Following from the ‘Claim Form’

Particulars of Claim

The driver of motor vehicle registration [REDACTED] (the Vehicle) parked in breach of the prominently displayed terms and conditions of parking set out on the signage at [REDACTED LOCATION / BUSINESS NAME] on [REDACTED DATE].

The signage constituted an offer of a unilateral contract, accepted by the act of parking, under which the driver agreed to pay the specified parking charge [REDACTED] in the event of breach.

The parking charge remains unpaid after [REDACTED TIME PERIOD] and the Defendant, as driver and/or registered keeper, is alleged to be liable for the outstanding sum.

Despite demands, the Defendant has failed to make payment.

The Claimant therefore claims [REDACTED AMOUNT] for the parking charge, [REDACTED AMOUNT] contractual costs pursuant to the contract and parking charge terms and conditions, together with statutory interest of [REDACTED AMOUNT] pursuant to [REDACTED LEGISLATION], at [REDACTED RATE], accruing at [REDACTED DAILY RATE] until judgment or earlier payment.

Removed everything that could be traced back to me. Can anyone assist with a defence? I’ve done my acknowledgment of service. 2 young kids and full time work I’ve tried to read as much as I can but I just don’t have the hours in the day. I understand that there’s 8 steps following defence submitted? Anything to help simplify this would be greatly appreciated. I parked outside a shop, didn’t see or aware of signs- used said shop but then used another facility close by for an hour, returned to find a parking ticket.
