OPODO PRIMEM TAKEN MONEY AGAIN!!

I am absolutely livid. I took Opodo Prime membership two years ago for an offer rate of £4.99. I was not informed they would take it again automatically the following year at £99.99. They took the £99.99 and I called them the same day to cancel and they refused. There is no email contact for Opodo and I cannot login to the website as it just freezes. They eventually offered me a £45 refund and voucher to use (which turned out to be useless). I made it quite clear that I DID NOT want my susbscription renewed again this year (Dec 2025) and guess what? They have taken the £99.99 AGAIN. No way to email or login so I phoned and was on hold for nearly half and hour while agent listened to previous calls from me from last year and they informed me as I had accepted the voucher last year the susbscription would be assumed to be renewed this year. I made it very clear I did not want to continue with the yearly subscription. In my opinion this is fraud and the agents will not under any circumstances refund my money. I do not know where to turn now. How do I get my £99.99 back??

You have a legal right up to 14 days to withdraw after auto-renewal and get a refund. Its a formal process, check their T&Cs to see how to contact them and the wording to use. Also submit a complaint with evidence of your cancellation last year. Finally, if you paid by card try s75 (credit card) or charge back (visa debit), or report it to your bank as an unauthorised charge.0

You took a membership which had an automatic renewal and did not read the Ts and Cs, which are very clear.

It renewed as per those terms, they gave you a goodwill gesture and a voucher.
Did they confirm auto renewal was cancelled in writing or by email?
You have had a whole 12 months to ensure it didn't happen again, did you proactively contact Opodo in that time to check that the renewal would not happen?

Ring you bank & claim the money back via chargeback, given you cancelled last year (which you will have the date for)Buffyslayer1 said:I am absolutely livid.
