Small Claim Decision

After you have been to court and a decision has been made, how long do you have to wait to get a copy of the judge's summing up? It's been three weeks since mine. A week ago I received the decision through the post but not an actual account of how and why the decision was made.

There is not a "summing up" for a CCJ, that is only in criminal cases. The judgement order letter you received should include details of the amount owed, who it is owed to, the courts details, and confirming the date by which payment is due.

I am guessing the CCJ has been issued against you? Did you submit a defence, did you attend court?

Not all orders are passed down in writing, in simple cases many are given orally
