Any recommendations welcome.
I'm new to this and so far haven't needed one but a long shot at identifying a rose 🌹 in my neighbour's garden is one.
Bog standard deep pink tea rose that blooms all year. I'm sure I'll find more 🙂

Plant.net app works very well for me. It isn’t definitive but will tell you % chances of it being different species based on leaf, berry etc

Thanks. I've heard of that so maybe I'll start with it 🙂

I'm new to the app business but have free data for 6mts so want to see how it goes and select before I have to pay for it.
Just don't want to get addicted like some of my friends 😲

Another vote for plant net. It's dependent on users agreeing with it, so best to use it like Google ai - use it to get ideas then double check.

I use picturethis, it's free, but I don't think it'll tell you much about what type something is, just what it is...

Google Gemini or CharGPT are pretty good at this on their own, without the need for any extra apps.

Second this, at least on my experience so far. It helps if you also add where it is, in some woods in Dorset UK for instance etc, to stop the AI getting daft ideas
