Noticed my iweb account has been taken over by Scottish widows. Is there anything to wary about here or is everything basically the same?

It's just a name change and rebranding plus a new, zero cost regular investment facility. Under the hood it's still Halifax Share Dealing Limited (HSDL). there have been emails and letters in the post about the change so you might want to look into why you've not receive those0
