Robotic Lawn Mower queries

Hi
We bought a robotic lawn mower few months ago and has been happy with the work.It works with boundary line.
Lawnmaster L10 model.
We are new to this and would be grateful for few advices or tips:
Does the charging base station needs to be fixed within the lawn, as we are having grassless bit within our lawn. Can it be placed just outside lawn and boundary wire attached to it?
Can the robotic lawn mower be left out in winter and rain-at present we bring it in.
We also have a small patch of lawn seperated from main one by a gravel path-how to get lawn mower move to small lawn without damaging the blades?
Many Thanks

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

The duplicate thread is one thing, but having a Username that matches only one address in the UK is surely more concerning.

I hope the op realises and cangs it.

In answer to the question I don't own one but they cost a lot so I would be bringing it inside.
They do have little shelters for them if you want which indicates they should be protected from sun and the rain, even more, frost snow and bright sunshine.

As for the separate lawn you have 2 choices. Either lift it or create a wide enough grass corridor through the gravel.
You could make it a camomile strip for fragrance.
