Xbox 360 x2 don’t display anything on tv

I decided to get some old equipment out of storage starting with 2 x PlayStation 3 fat models which seemed to work perfectly.
Using the same TV and HDMI cable I then tried connecting up 2x Xbox 360S models but neither would show anything on the screen although they both appear to be running okay – no warning lights et cetera. I’ve tried turning the TV on and off and I tried turning the Xboxs on off as well. Nothing is showing. It seems a bit unlikely that both of these are faulty in the same way.
Any ideas?
Thanks for reading.

I know that Microsoft have switched off the Xbox 360 servers, but I've just fired up my 360 (not an S model) and it still gives me all the usual display output so it's something specific to your situation. Microsoft haven't bricked them all remotely!N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile.
