It's not obvious (to me anyway) what your point is - was the post meant to be in the ISA transfer experiences thread perhaps, or were you transferring something else?  Did four weeks differ from your expectations, and if so, in which direction?

I don't understand what you are saying either - do you think this was good or bad? Was it just a cash transfer or did some or lots of assets require re-registration? Maybe it took longer to complete because of settlements on sales or dividends were due to be paid? There's just not enough info to form a view of reasonableness.

I would like to ask what is the likely time frame for transferring a Cash ISA from Trading 212 to ii.
Trading 212 says it will take maximum of 15 days
    ii says maximum 4 weeks.
I am not sure whether it will arrive in ii before 24 December  as they are close till the 28 December and my Cash ISA will earn less interest in the ii account than 212, on the other hand my free trade credits ends on 31/12/25.   or try a new platform?

Any ISA transfer inherently involves two parties, neither of which can commit to a timescale on behalf of the other, so any such estimates should be treated with caution.

The official guidance is that transfers between cash ISAs should complete in 15 business days, i.e. three weeks, but the mandated maximum timescale for all other transfers (such as cash to S&S) is 30 calendar days.

Many complete faster than this though, although more complex in-specie ones may take longer.

I don't really understand what options you're evaluating here, and how, but if you haven't actually started a transfer yet then it would seem unwise to bank on it completing by Christmas or even New Year.

Why are free trade credits relevant to a Cash ISA?

OP - looks like an explanatory post was deleted for some reason, clarifying that you're transferring a T212 cash ISA into an II S&S one, with a view to investment thereafter?

It's unlikely to be practical to control the minutiae of when such a transfer will happen, relative to trade credits (which are monthly anyway) and interest on uninvested cash, so you probably just need to get on with it and accept that you might miss out on a few quid in the process.  Alternatively, depending on what you ultimately want to invest in, can you invest within T212 and then transfer the investment(s) in-specie to II?
