Cautionary ttale - read the newbie threads properly
I had driven two separate cars) and I appealed online same day or day after claiming I was a member of the attached gym that uses the same car park and that the reg number registration at reception must not have worked. I wish I had read the newbie thread in better detail, I used some of the correct wording (disputing parking charge, not claiming to be driver, etc) but realise now there is a lot more I should have added.

Your chances are zilch - on account of "hoping I could get away with not paying."
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.2 -
If the 2 pcns complied with POFA 2012, then revealing who was driving is irrelevant, keeper liability would probably apply, outing the driver means that driver liability probably applies
Given your story above, you have zero chance at popla, so paying £20 to park could be a solution in this case
If a court heard your story above, the cost would be hundreds of pounds, IMHO
No such thing as taking a chance these days, cameras are plentiful and work 24/7/3652 -
Your defence is, as you quote in para 3, "that the reg number registration at reception must not have worked"._fern_gully_25 said:Hi everyoneHoping I can get some advice on next steps after PCN appeals with Premier Park (Planet Ice Solihull) were rejected. On two separate occasions I used the car park hoping I could get away with not paying. 2 x PCNs were received (t

They have offered reduction to £20 as a one-off for one of the PCNs. The other is still at the original £60 charge. Options are pay up or POPLA appeal.Reading other threads, I think I need to wait until day 25/26 since their decision on the original appeal then appeal to POPLA using the templates available on here, but I'm concerned my first blunder would make this pointless. Should I just accept I'm cooked?Grateful for any suggestions! Also feel free to roast me, chances are I agree 🤪2 -
Hi,
3 weeks ago I attended urgent care at a hospital in Rugby and I have received a Parking charge notice, in all honestly, I was quite stressed and forgot to pay on my way out.
I have read the newbies thread and as far as I can tell it is POFA compliant but I
don't know which day it arrived as I have been abroad for 2 weeks.
My question is, if it is POFA compliant and I was at fault for not paying am I right in thinking it's not worth contesting?
Thanks for your time

You should start a thread of your own so this thread does not become confusing trying to answer more than one poster. Whilst you are doing that put your dates in this checker; -
