widow needs DIY probate help re insolvent estate

    Phone calls
    Postage costs 
    Travel costs
    Interment of ashes

    Many thanks for everyone's advice, it is much appreciated and  I'm feeling less worried.

     May I also ask,,  Is it worth using a PO box for the Gazette  (an additional £99) ?  Is listing one's address as public record an invitation to scammers?   Can I assume that would also be a legitimate estate expense?
