Wait for a while (a few hours) and see if it fixes itself. As I understand it, the EPG is transmitted on a per-multiplex basis, and it can take a while for some TVs to read the data from the multiplex and update internally.

No there's no way to fix this on that TV.  The TCL has a free-to-air satellite tuner and is NOT Freesat-approved or labelled as such.

Same as my top-end Panasonic OLED TV.

Very few brands actually support Freesat any more.  Possibly only LG and Sony, I think ...  Do full due diligence checks on here, AVForums and suchlike places.

Different TV or a freesat box... recording or plain receiver... will be needed for Freesat 7-day EPG.  Or just stream stuff.  It is the future. ;)

On Freesat the EPG is transmitted on the 'home transponder' that is also used / needed to set up freesat receivers via the postcode input.

You are correct on Freeview (terrestrial) but the EPG gets filled pretty rapidly for the channels on the multiplex that is tuned to.

Samsung TVs don't even carry the Freeview branding (they use their own EPG)

The Freesat website doesn't list any compatible TVs. The main makes that claim Freesat compatibility are LG (mid to high price)  and Cello (at the budget end)

Some Sony TVs also claim Freesat compatibility.
