£213. Was it you who bought it off me???

No...........I have a very good memory and when I saw that comment I couldn't resist:D ....I'm a long term lurker (back to the days of Miss London and her quest to get debt free, ask SS who she is if you are not sure, she was an inspirational woman!).

Good luck with the meet on Saturday.

Its because of Miss London I became Debt Free really, I followed her thread, I thought if she can do so can I, and I did, I didn't have the amount of debt MS London had, I think she had £19,000, and I had £6,000.

She worked and worked at getting debt free, and the morning she was in the magazine I rushed to Tesco's and had a look, put a face to a name, of course I didn't buy it...not very MSE!

I wonder at times how she is doing and where she....somewhere warmer than here I hope!

    Hi All

Sadly I don't think I am going to make it to the meet after all.:cry::cry: I injured my foot quite badly last night - ambulance trip to A&E no less! Luckily it's not broken - they haven't said what they think is the matter but having done the exact same injury some years ago (other foot I think though I can't be sure) I have a reasonable idea. I think it is a torn ligament - I heard an almighty crack which was obviously not a bone breaking but was probably a ligament tearing (sorry is that TMI?!)

Anyway I am in a lot of pain and can't walk on it at the moment. I have crutches but I haven't mastered them yet. I have got to rest it elevated with ice on for the first 24 hours and I am not allowed to put any weight on it for at least 3 days. I don't fancy fighting my way through the crowds in Birmingham when I am wobbly on crutches.

Anyway, I will see if it's any better tomorrow night and let you all know for definite then.

Thanks Merlot. I remember Ms London, I caught the back end of her journey and have had the occasional pleasure of conversing with her. SHe is in Oz now aint she?
