Haier 5 Year Warranty

Morning

I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. I bought a Haier Washer Dryer from Currys. I bought it specifically because it came with a 5 Year Parts and Labour Warranty from Haier. I called the number on the warranty info I received with the product, its Domestic and General (D&G), to register it and they said I need to do it via the Haier Website, as they can only register me for 2 years. I did that, it took me to a D&G webpage, but the 5 Year option assumes you've taken an extended warranty out with someone else, which isn't the case. I raised a query on the Haier Website, which went to D&G. Again they said they couldn't help and that I needed to contact Haier. I contacted Haier who've said they don't deal with warranties, which seems an odd response. So I'm going round in circles. Has anyone got any advice on what I do next and what my consumer position is, should I need to start referring to that?

Thank you

Chris

Go back to the retailer.  Get them to sort it for you.

Thanks Sheramber. yes, that's the website I went to. Its D&G again and, when I put the product details in, the 5 Year option assumes you've purchased an extended warrant with someone else, which I haven't. This backs up what they said on the phone, they can only offer 2 Years.

Currys have the following T&Cs document on their website:

    Does it cover your model?
