This is a Sainsbury’s with an attached multi storey car park next to a small high street.
A friend recently copped a Parking Charge Notice from Euro Car Parks after an alleged 10 minute overstay. £100 or £60 with the mug’s discount. They had spent > £170 in the store!
On my advice they spoke to the manager in person and the charge has been cancelled.
Plan A works again - always try this first!

It appears that this store always cancels on evidence of a £100+ purchase. I suppose the amount spent has some relationship to the time required but not sure if that’s a general Sainsbury’s policy -  it does leave a few questions about, say, an elderly person shopping for far less.
